One can not see the hearts

Sentient being and device mirror each each other, seeming opposite ends but tied by the thread of memory, rhythm, and sound.

The heart, made of flesh, full of affection, driven by the impulses of desire, is complemented, through the dependence on a general system of cadences, by the bell, a primordial hardware that knows itself to be metallic and hollow, a vessel of sound and amulet of protection.
